Getting Support

Thank you for your interest in Franklin 3D! Franklin 3D (and associated products) are highly technical products and we provide resources for you to get started.

Join the Franklin 3D Community Mailing List

We want to help you make the most of your purchase, but we ask that you go through the following steps if you identify a problem.:

  1. Check any Examples and FAQ. A lot of useful code is available through examples and tutorials. Check the frequently asked questions for any short questions and answers. Any substantial, frequently asked question will get moved into the wiki.
  2. Check the Franklin 3D Wiki. This is where you will find any documentation for any products we make, plus any lengthy tutorials or other support materials.
  3. Check Mantis for Issues. If you've stumbled across a known issue, its going to be in our mantis bug server. If you are sure you've found a bug, check to see if its already submitted. If not, feel free to submit one with as much detail as possible. This is the hot line to engineering.
  4. Ask on the Franklin 3D Mailing List. This is the place to ask questions of the entire community. This list is also visited by our engineers. Pleaes note that your messages are public information and may be copied over to our FAQ.
  5. Contact Support. Yes, we want to hear from you. If you have a pre-sales question or something just isn't working right we want to make it better. We cannot answer basic questions about your development environment.

Registration and login are required for all purchases and support of any kind. There is also a separate issue system for submitting issues directly to the Franklin 3D engineering team.
